I’m normally actually, it’s UTS that’s the fucking oddball. Just ask about in the L1 thread, they’ll soon tell you.

SO are Oldham and bury actually rivals? Or just geographically close and that’s about it. I know bury have a bit of a thing for Rochdale (or maybe the other way round) in the continued absence of bolton, but who do Oldham class as rivals?

Tbh I don’t think we give a shit about each other. Our main rivals this season will be Tranmere.

It’s a local game but there’s not really any genuine animosity between the fans. Obviously depending on how the season pans out there could spark a rivalry. I guess it is a rivalry but not a main one. Our fans have never really come out in numbers for Oldham games home or away which is an indicator of the importance of the fixture in the eyes of the fans.

Tranmere are a bit like Oldham to us... there’s a bit of needle on the day but not much past that.

You won’t find any Oldham fans singing ‘we hate Bury’ or vice versa.

I can appreciate you’ve been a member here and active here for some time.
I haven’t even bothered looking into the figures however the one I looked at first was incorrect only because I knew that game we only had 350 tickets .
That’s hardly a solid base to build from no disrespect to SWFC .
And even then another forum poster posted yet more conflicting figures
Your siding with a forum member who takes numbers from random posters over a club historian who keeps facts and figures based on the club all the way back to the foundation.

It’s also worth pointing out Jim brown as released books on the club and the facts and statistics of its past .
I’d find it hard to believe jim could release books called “Coventry city an illustrated history “if he didn’t have exact facts and figures , odd don’t you think .
A little hilarious you dismiss his version of the season , hope your not a cop lol
Jim has amended his figures to something like mine.

Thanks.

A sell-out 363 Lincoln at Exeter.

Long journey back. They might as well go straight to work.

For a normal day The Green Man would be a terrible pub. For a day at Wembley for footie fans, bloody brilliant. As long as the weathers dry of course.

Enjoy your day fellas.

I suspect we will be drinking in Central London and getting a train from Marylebone. Worked last year though I feel the train will be a bit more crowded this time!

This isn't actually true. I lived nearby during uni and they used to put on some cracking student nights.

10,000 tickets sold for Wembley in the first morning. More than I expected. Not on general sale till Tuesday.

We won't take 45,000 again, but maybe 35,000.

So what sort of crowds are we likely to see on the away terrace at the Moss next season then, and who from?

Space for away fans is 1,500 on the open terrace with another 400 covered seats.

I'd presume Vale will take the lot like they used to, anyone else?

Did you get part of another stand as well? I can't exactly remember what the arrangement was last time but there should still be enough space in the ground to give you a similar number again.

Yeah I think last couple of times you had London road north as well. Some of our more "vocal" fans shall we say have moved since our previous league days and now congregate behind the home dugout close to that area so will be interesting to see what happens should you be given that extra space again.

The return of the infamous family area for one game only?? :bg: Although actually they could probably just keep the tunnel fully extended so the two sets of fans can't get at each other. London road north isn't normally open anyway so I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to let away fans use it if needed.

Depends when we play you I guess I've been 3 times and we have took 1700 on nyd. About 500 for a dead rubber on a Tuesday night. Then close to 2000 in our promotion season.
