We’ve terminated Paul Taylor’s contract by mutual consent, he really looks a troubled man. Mitchell Lund may also have his contract terminated too.

Thats two clubs now. There's a good player in there but he has a lot of demons

Aston Villa have recalled Andre Green from his loan spell with us. He's not had many starts, partly due to injuries but has come on late in games of late and scored important goals. Looks a really good prospect but Villa are probably not happy with the amount of game time we've given him. He's had Curtis and Lowe ahead of him so not easy to slot him in.

Leaves us suddenly looking a bit short of bodies up front, so may need to recruit one or two in - probably loans.

I remember being impressed with Moncur in the away game at Barnsley, especially how calm he was in the Luton box getting his head up and picking out a Barnsley player to set up a goal. It was such a contrast to how the Luton players were panicking every time they got into the Barnsley area.

Obviously he has fallen out of favour at Barnsley since then and might have some character questions but it's still a potentially quality signing. Perhaps all the West Ham boys at Luton can keep him happy.

His contract was up in the Summer apparently so can't imagine it was a big fee but it sounds like Barnsley have a sell on clause.

He's an attacking midfielder/playmaker. Very small, but his technique is excellent. Just not rough and tumble.

We tried him there and he wasn't quick enough really. More a central player for me

Tidy and with an eye for a pass but failed to make an impact and didn't really fit into the squad as we had to play 1 up front with him in behind to get him in the team, which just wasn't worth it.

How highly do you rate Joe Rafferty?

Highly. Solid full back who gets forward when appropriate. Can do wing back, but crossing isn't his strong point. Also had a couple of decent games as defensive midfielder (aka shielding a rickety back 4), which he was OK at.

A Very solid L1 player, but not 100% sure he'd be Championship standard. Has struggled against one or two particularly fast or tall wide men. Wouldn't begrudge him the chance, though - he's a good lad, and we have an extremely promising 16 yo who played the second half yesterday at RB with Joe switched to the left to replace the sadly off-form Matt Done.

Yeah, very versatile if he can stay fit for more than two games.

Right back by trade but played left back in our promotion season and was class in the play-offs, also had a run at centre back when we were promoted and he was quality, think we kept 6 clean sheets in a row or something.

Not sure if he's the same player now though, constant injuries mean we can't rely on him in the Championship anymore.

Been a good player for us, wish him well.

If any Shrewsbury fans see Vincelot please tell us if he is any good. We haven't seen him for 3 months or so.

He played every game from the start of the season at centre back but got caught out by league two shit house tactics. Picked up a 'minor' calf strain in October and we never saw him again!

I'm presuming he was on good money (for us) and we needed to release him to bring someone who was going to play in but it is a bit of a mystery as we have struggled in midfield and he never got a chance.

Now, anyone fancy Mark Randall?
