Definitely, but it's also expensive and difficult to get there and yet clubs are taking 4x their usual followings up there.
No surprise really. Sunderland are this seasons big attraction home and away. The visit to SoL will attract a lot of fans who don't normally travel away. All clubs have their hardcore away support and then the day trippers who turn up for big games. Fully expect to have a big number of day trippers travelling to the SoL when we play them in January.

Not sure if it was mentioned but 871 fans Plymouth fans at the KR. A top effort!

Donny have sold 750 for their trip to Oakwell next week. Wow.
I'd read on our forum that they'd sold out the first allocation of 2,500, which would be pretty good. Given their recent followings here though I think what you've said is more likely.

Given our website is showing the original allocation is unavailable I will leave it up to you how many we have sold

Heard 1651 Coventry

1651 was the full allocation, which sold out, so will take that for now, should get an official figure from Coventry at some stage.
Nothing yet on either club's twitter or official site, nor in the local Burton paper.

Walsall part 1 on Saturday has apparently sold out now, the club hasn't announced much about it. I think judging from our initial allocation of 2,221 and 2 lots of 700 extra tickets we'll have about 3,600 there.

I doubt we'll shift half of that for the cup game in a couple of weeks.

Not sure how they have given you 3600.

Walsall sometimes give clubs 3600 . Common sense to give Sunderland more than the 2k behind the goal.

Think we had 3.8k there Boxing Day 2011. Kicked off when they scored two late goals to win and I think they reduced the side allocation a bit.

Yep, we only had 2.6k I think in our promotion season, sure Coventry have only had that too since your game there.

The 750 figure came from YT on Saturday. According to someone on Viking Chat they had sold around 1,000 on Monday. Can't see them selling 2,000.

Most we've been given for Walsall is 2800 I believe.

1,863.

That's not great from them tbh.

Edit: in the interests of fairness I'll say 11,700 home fans isn't brilliant either all things considered.
