So the team is starting to take shape with a massive one name on the team sheet, but what a player it is. But who is going to play in front of the mighty Scott Loach?

Name your best Right Backs of the year.......

This category should be in the tinpot thread.

Even though he's not in the league it'll be Lee Vaughan. I've voted for him every year since 2011 because he's the only Non League right-back I know.

In my team of the season, this was a position where originally opted for a Rovers player.
Jake Caprice had another decent game against Rovers, but is apparently rubbish against everyone else. I'd also go for Josh Passley from Dover, had a decent game in more of a wing-back role at PP

I nearly went for Caprice, as he is always good against us. I can never understand why nobody else rates him.

I know our manager is a big fan of his.

Apart from sprint speed, Sam Ling is an upgrade on him in every single way and I reckon this time next year he will be up for discussion in this team of the year.

Caprice is rapidly quick and that's his game, I'd go as far to say he's our third best right back - I'd pick both Ling and Myles Judd over him. He's technically very poor, fails to make simple passes or spot longer range passes, he's very poor defensively, doesn't get tight well enough, often out of position, reactive rather than proactive. His game is literally kick it far down the channel and run after it - works a few times to be fair but it's the kind of shit that will never ever be effective above this level. That's why despite his assist record being respectable, he will never cut it as a winger. Expect him to be National South within two years, where to be fair he will be a good player.

Anyway, back to the matter in hand:

Cheye Alexander - Aldershot Town

Correct. He did pretty much the same for us. Looks good sometimes because he’s got pace. But oppsition wingers and full backs work him out pretty quickly.

WOOP WOOP it’s the sound of the Caprice.

Let's be honest, most fans don't even know who their own right back is, let alone another club's.

Going off highlights a bit here but I've got to agree that Smith for Boreham Wood has looked pretty good so he gets my vote.

That would be because he is dogshit. Can’t say I noticed a right back being anything other than functional this season, so it’s an abstention from me.

Right fuck it, let's close this down. Winner is a completely made up player called Kane Smith of Borehamwood. Nope me neither.
