Right, lets get this going then. Rules are fairly simple, so I can't wait for every fucker to get them wrong.

The first rule of team of the season, is there are no rules.
2nd rule is, actually there are rules, well just one, YOU CAN NOT PICK YOUR OWN TEAMS PLAYERS.

Feel free to moan and whinge about this all you like, and of course it wouldn't be a TOTS thread if you didn't all start your replies with "Well seen's as i can't pick so and so from my own team, it will have to be....."

Oh and please make sure we spend hours on end squabbling over someones actual position. Is Bruno Andrade a winger or a striker? Who gives a fuck, just vote for him wherever you want if you liked the look of him.

Even writing this I know what i'm letting myself in for. I'm regretting this already but here goes...

Starting with your choices for 'keeper. Just one name please. Ideally in bold so easier to spot when tallying up. I'll keep each position open for a couple of days and then move on.

RESULT - SCOTT LOACH (HARTLEPOOL UTD)

I know they've let in a million goals but I'll go for Jay Lynch of Fylde.

Obviously I'd pick Jalal if I could :woot: but otherwise the Gateshead keeper Montgomery was the best I've seen

Doesn’t DarkSithLord usually unsuccessfully run this?

I vote for: Shaun Pearson

He had two absolute blinders against us and he plays for a Brotherhood side, so I’ll have to vote for Scott Loach

Don't recall any keeper having anything other than a regular game against us. Some were worse than others but no one sticks out. We haven't really battered anyone all season and the one game we did (Halifax), they let in 4 anyway. So no vote from me here. Loach has to be up there, he's made some errors costing goals but all in all I'd say he's added at least 10 points to our tally.

Doug Lindberg. Way too good for this level.

Breach of rules as per every year. One vote deducted from Loach’s total.

Speaking on behalf of the HUFC delegation and being new to this tinpottery I believe it's only fair we warrant a reprieve in this case and receive a mere slap on the wrist for our transgressions.

Sod that man. Let’s stick to what we know best. I’ll be posting my nomination for best half back in Division 3 North season 1936/37.

Sorry can't remember 1 being outstanding.
Minus point to Bromley's keeper for faking injury to get our player booked.

I can only remember going to one GM Vauxhall Conference match this season. So, since he used to play for us (U's) and he's a good sort (if a bit excitable), I vote for Dave Gregory................presumably bringing him back to zero?
