We're gonna win it eventually mate. Not sure what will happen afterwards though. Bit like Chelsea.
Chelsea winning it eventually was indeed inevitable - they'd reached five semi finals in the previous eight years and lost a final too. In the other three years they lost to two eventual winners.

You could be right that PSG will win it one day but it's not inevitable in the Chelsea sense.

Fair point but I still can only think of 4 sides (5 tops) who could knock us out. I'm not in a hurry mind. I'm going to Russia so will be doing zero PSG games this season.

Monaco and Toulouse are tied at 1-1 at half time.

Toulouse started well but as the game has gone on Monaco have exerted more and more control over proceedings. They've not managed to do very much with that control so far, though.

If I'd just spunked 200mill on a player I think I'd have been parading him around for about 4 hours before kick off.
I'd bring the cnut on for a half time parade as well.
In fact, fuck the football, I'd having him doing laps for the full 90 minutes.

Amiens couldn't quite hold on until half time, 1-0 through Cavani.

I think I might follow your lead from now on.
If you follow my lead on everything else, you'll have a great life. With wanks and all.

EDIT: we won 2-0. I took a nap for the whole game. Don't think I missed much.

Payet is subbed off at half time and his replacement, N'Jie, scores within three or four minutes of being introduced.

Today I'll watch a Ligue 1 game live, first time in a while. I want to see the debut of Neymar against Guingamp (7.000 inhabitants).
Seems that Draxler is out again and there are already transfer rumours (hope he won't come back to the Bundesliga, the whiner.)

I would watch a Ligue 1 game if I could watch a Ligue 1 game.

I did the same today. My first Ligue 1 match for ages and I nodded away at half time (still 0-0 back then). Must be the yellow shirts of PSG in this match, So I haven't seen Neymar's goal (thank god for that)

It wasn't very aesthetically pleasing but he was as slippery as an eel.

What do we think about Mbappe going to PSG on loan for a year, with an obligatory transfer next summer for £166m. Presumably to help their calculations with FFP? Should be an entertaining side to watch with that front line!

It's not quite obligatory, he goes back to Monaco if...PSG get relegated.

I've heard Neymar is very upset as the intention of the move was to get out of a better players shadow. And now that's ruined.
He's on the phone to Eddie Howe atm. I'll keep you updated.

They seem to be going down the Manchester City route of buying every attacker in the world. They've now got Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria, Draxler, Cavani, Lucas, Pastore and Ben Arfa.

I know they are planning to get rid of Draxler and some of those names are suitable as back up but that's still a lot of attacking talent for not so many places.

They'll definitely be exciting to watch though, for sure.

Interesting, not sure that'll go ahead considering the animosity between the two clubs at the moment stemming from the Neymar deal.

Still, I suppose PSG need to do something pretty soon as the shadow of FFP is still looming.

Not so much. Lucas and Ben Arfa are on borrowed time; they'll have next to zero game time this season. Pastore is an AM who'll play next to Verratti and Motta in midfield which leaves us with Di Maria and Draxler fighting it off for the right wing, Cavani as the main CF with Mbappé being given cameo appearances (a shame given his age and the fact that this is a World Cup season) and Neymar on the left.

Our squad isn't that big tbh.

You really think Mbappé is going to merely make cameo appearances?
