Hmm, galling to lose to County, who were no great shakes really, even against 10 men of a second string side.

Shite weather and Hulme banned for 3 games, which is the worst part of it. Interesting to see the reasoning behind the team selection today.

A very routine 4-0 win against Beaconsfield Town with goals from George Elokobi, James Brophy, Craig Clay and Dale Gorman.

The gulf between both sides was huge - So much so I don't think Beaconsfield even had a shot, they had a few corners but that was it. We barely out of first gear and could've scored more if we'd been bothered.

Rested 5 key players though which is vital with 5 games coming in 2 weeks.

No segregation in place for this game either, Beaconsfield must've brought about 30 fans if that, all on a small mini bus and some with the players on their coach.

Not sure how we won but we did thanks to some awful defending from Ebbsfleet. As no segregation was in place that whole end behind the goal where the 5 Ebbsfleet fans try to create an atmosphere needs ripping down, what a dire home end to have. Having a megaphone is just embarrassing.

That used to be a good terrace before they added the seats.

As for the megaphone, yes its incredibly tinpot. Whenever we play them the bloke seems to bellow down it non stop for 90 minutes.

We could have given ourselves a confidence boost with a decisive win against lower league opponents but instead squeezed through.
Finchley away in the next round please (first time they’ve got this far in the FA Trophy)

3-3 draw at home to Bedford which means a replay on Tuesday night. Literally the last thing we need when we only have 13 fit players and one of them went off injured today.

You just know we're going to lose on penalties with another couple of injuries on Tuesday too

5-1 for us. Didn’t go but attended the Pre match protest which seemed to be a success.

Easy win for us. Hopefully the goal for Fondop can give him some confidence. Hopefully we can get a strong team in the next round and we can move on from this competition.

On another day we'd have won that 3-0.

Hey ho. Good luck Daggers.

Nice straight forward 3-0 win against Boston. Deverdics had a good game! (Deverdics having a game is shock enough)

He fucking loves the trophy does Nicky Deverdics.

Not only are we down to 12 fit players, have to replay a game from 3 divisions below because we couldnt beat them at home, and are sliding down the league, but now Waddock could be on his way out - The Non League Paper are reporting he is off to Bristol Rovers!

lost 1-3 away to Boring Wood in front of an incredible crowd of 207 (no, I haven't missed a zero off). We played the 2nd half with 10 men after a pathetic decision by the tosser in black to show Keating a straight red for an innocuous looking tackle. Took the lead early in the 2nd half only for Boring Wood to level it later on after a rare mistake in the United defence let them back in it. Extra time and down to 9 men when Cameron shown 2nd yellow. Soaking wet. Freezing cold. Embarrassing home support. Another defeat. The joys of playing against Boring Wood.

btw, we had over half of the crowd

I couldnt go yesterday and was shocked when I saw the team we put out, so many changes and the entire defence changed, must have been one hell of a flu bug !

I'd say you dodged the proverbial bullet. It was quite exciting second half admittedly, but that's now four games without a goal against County.

Wrexham quickly went 3 up against us with very clinical finishing
The rest of the game was only enlivened by the torrential rain making one end of the pitch into a shallow end, as they kept us at arms length at about 80%

Orient at home FFS, a total fix organised by Salford no doubt.

Shall we just agree to both forfeit this sheer tinpottery and give some other side a lucky loser place?

*Orient Reserves.

Reckon we’ll rustle up at least 40 away fans.

That’ll take the attendance well over the 800 mark I’d have thought.

This is the problem, we’re at home so I could see us forced into playing a fairly strong lineup, win, and RUIN our season in the process.

We could end up playing Chesterfield 3 times in 8 days if we go through and it goes to a replay (far stranger things have happened)

Can't say we didn't deserve it. We were the better team on the day and should have had a few more even before the red card.

That being said, i'd happily trade in that win for 4-6 points from our 2 games over Xmas / NY
