I'll be watching the draw on Monday with the hope of a 'banana skin' tie, now rid of Phil Brown we might actually take this seriously. Five years since we won a tie, 3 years since we even scored a goal in the FA Cup. Tedious draws apart from getting Chester a few years ago.
Would love the likes of Alfreton or St Neots but if we get a non-league side I'm sure away to Orient is most likely!

Remember Phil Brown is at Swindon now so if you want an easy passage to Round 2 that's the tie you want.

Good luck to Workington tonight in their replay against Kidsgrove Athletic

Is it true that your Borough is building you a Community Stadium with a capacity of 8,000 when the combined average attendances of the football club and rugby club will struggle to average much over 1,000.

Happy days when we won at Roots Hall. Hardly won a cup game since.

Hardly a surprise. That stand is older than AFC Halifax, Dagenham, Solihull and yourselves put together. All part of having an actual history, I suppose.
Correct. AFC Halifax was founded in 2006 and has been national supporters club champions several times already, I'm delighted that you've heard of us. :ds:

Having set a new attendance record every time we've played at Warrington, the big question on everyones lips is, can we do it again? :bdick:

Plus you stole it from Mitcham in the first place (well bought. There’s an article on the Gandermoniun blog about the Mitcham stadium mystery)

Ooh, County away, tasty. By my reckoning, we have never scored a goal at Edgeley Park
That is almost certainly about to change. We can't defend for Toffee this season! Not that great at scoring either tbf!

Anyone who charges £20 to watch non-league Football are conmen tbh

Yeah if you have a sugar daddy or no intention of getting promotion but normal clubs need gate money to survive. Or failing that, just make a load of money off a dodgy betting scam...

If a club getting 4000+ through the gate whilst competing with part-time teams can’t make ends meet without fleecing the general public then perhaps something is fundamentally wrong

We have a fully fit squad for tomorrow, apart from Joe Widdowson who is suspended.

Not sure if JE will be tempted to make one or two changes or not, I can see Charlie Lee coming back into the side after being rested last week.

I think only half of the Maidstone team who we beat 2-1 back in August are still there, so will be a different game I suspect.

We've not sold all our tickets, which is not a suprise as we've been there already this season and its a cup game. With it being all ticket I can only see around 380 of us going. At least we will be able to breathe a bit better on this visit!

Considering our league position, losing this would not be the end of the world. Just don't want a replay............But we needed that last season against Dagenham.

We're on a hiding to nothing tomorrow, we should be sweeping this mob away comfortably, Bates was already talking about making changes which seems mental to me with the increased prize money this year, why take the risk, this is probably the biggest game in their history and are gonna give it a proper go, stick your best 11 on from the start and take players off after.

Why any manager wouldn't play their strongest side is beyond me, even if you're playing a tinpot no-hoper. This is the real thing with real game-changing money to be made.

The Trophy is the tinpot one where you play about 10 matches, ruin your season due to re-arranged games and end up making £500 overall profit for reaching the final.

A very tricky away tie at Chorley today for Barrow. A lot of people travelling for what looks like being an exciting match-up, with the home side still unbeaten (?) and a fair few Barrow connections. I suspect their fans might consider themselves favourites for it too.

A draw would be an okay result in this one, as I'd fancy us to do it at Holker Street in the replay.

I can definitely see some crowd UNREST in that Chorley v Barrow match.

Anyone manage to watch any of that Dunston game on the red button?

I actually feel nauseous at the state of the picture quality, it's like being drunk aboard a ship going through choppy seas

We’ve made 6 changes and perhaps even a formation switch for our game, even though it’s against some tinpot no-hopers.

Am I missing something? Sutton charge 15 quid. Wrexham charge 20 quid. Wrexhams ground is three times bigger (technically 4 times bigger but not taking account of the closed stand) and all seater. At Sutton you basically stand in a bus shelter. Who is fleecing who?

I should’ve brought a book with me

1-0 Pools, must’ve had 80% possession with about two shots to show for it.

I genuinely don't understand why.

I also hate the commentary team. Half time guest Paul Hiscock's input is that clubs with an artificial pitch are clogging up the league system for teams with ambition. Fuck off m8, it's embarrassing.
