Wasn't expecting that at all. Great result and that's two comeback away wins in the space of 4 days.

Huge opportunity at home to Stockport but we seem to be pretty awful at home so I would expect a really tough cup tie.

Do you think you will bring many next week ? You only brought a couple of hundred fans to Prenton Park in the Conference, but I would guess this game is of a different magnitude for you.

Both clubs receive a fee from the BBC for switching to Sunday, so I think a change is unlikely.

There will more than likely be more than we took in league matches there, my guess is it could be anywhere between 500 and 1000. It'll bring a few out of the woodwork with it being a relatively local tie and with it being the FA Cup. We have no recent precedent for this either, the last time we got an away tie at this stage of the competition was 20 years ago, and we took 800 to Mansfield then.

Was expecting more from Salford last night.
I thought they were shocking. I was expecting much more given the money they have spent.

They were completely outplayed by what looked a decent Shrewsbury side for eighty minutes and then brought Lois Maynard on and resorted to hoofball in the closing stages.

A reminder of what a gulf there is between even the better League Two sides and the National League.

And beat them!
Can’t understand why all the second round Sunday games start at 2pm whilst the first round Sunday games kicked off at 12.45...

Attempt number two at getting the right thread here...

Over 600 sold for the match at Chesterfield on Sunday, we're obviously not gonna get anywhere near the amount we took to you on the opening day of last season but we should easily get into 4 figures, I'd have thought.

Barnet have put on a double-pint offer for £7, for Sunday's game v County.

There'll be more than 1,200 problem-drinkers visiting, and they've decided to throw alcohol at us... Bazalgette's sewer system may never recover

We’ve sold out our initial 500 tickets (MASSIVE CLOB) for Swindon on Sunday. Hopefully we’ll take 1000+ to see a 2-0 defeat with goals in either half.

Will be great to see some away fans at the Hive.... County will be taking around 1,500.
No idea what Stockport are like but I'm sure it will be a close game.

Its about time Barnet do something in the FA CUP, knowing our luck we will win and get Grimsby away!

Moors offer pints at about £3.... so no special offers but if you come from Blackpool we should probably drop the prices and throw in some cheap sex toys, another time of year I wouldnt mid the replay for a night in Blackpool but I recall it being freezing when i visited in July a couple of years back, so I will wait until we play them in the Quarter Finals next season.

Hi Chesterfieldians

Is it possible to park on Lockoford Lane? Or are there restrictions, such as permit holders only? Was thinking of parking somewhere near the corner of Lockoford Lane and James Street.

Looking forward to our draw on Sunday. Replay should be a cracker! :2thumb:

Three free coaches full to Halifax, apparently. Fuck that for a game of soldiers, no way would I head to Kingsmeadow for a 6am departure. I'll watch it at the club.

That's Brum prices, £3.50 a pint [or equivalent of] is a bargain in that there London

but if you come from Blackpool we should probably drop the prices and throw in some cheap sex toys
I don't know what's more upsetting, being threatened with sex toys or being confused with someone from Blackpool

And there was me thinking it would just be us outnumbering Barnet 2:1 in their ground this season.
I do think that there will be more than 950 of us at the Hive on Saturday. How many more I'm not sure though. With the magic of the cup, a large away following and a reasonable turnout from us I'm hoping for a proper match-day atmosphere at the Hive for a change and a focused professional performance from us.

There will be parking on James Street if its where I think it is. However i always park on the Old Brick Works Lane between the Crown and Anchor Pub and Chesters chippy. Usually plenty of street parking there and easyish to get away after.

I don't like to be critical because our ground isn't exactly amazing, but how the heck Solihull's ground is National League standard I will never know. No joke I seen grounds of similar standard in the Bostik South.

Good to know I won't get a ticket then, cheers.

yeah we may need to buy another stand from you when you go back to NLS.
But in all sincerity its not the best, we came from little and have built what we needed when promoted. Its a 300 seat grandstand with a great bar social club. And then a 1000 terrace (ex driving range) another 1000 terrace we got from you and a 1200 seat stand from the Birmingham Rugby club either left or flogged to use when they left which is broken into 3 sections only one of which had a tarp roof fit for use. The ground was passed fit 2 years ago almost. If we get gates over 1700 it is under facilitated but from what i hear we have plans to move or upgrade should things fall our way.
That said, both clubs could have gone under so its good to be where we are!

Solihull gave it a good go last night. I still don’t think that goal should have been disallowed.

It was weird but definitely offside but let's be honest nobody would have noticed it.

I'd have disallowed it anyway as their rugby set-piece routines have no place in football.

Normally there would be a defender on the goal line keeping the corner taker onside. It's a very uncommon situation but since there were no Blackpool players the posts, it was a clear offside and very easy for the linesman to spot.

Whichever pundit it was that said the ball had to go forwards for it to be offside needs to have another look at the rules.

Newport are awful. If we were able to score we'd be out of sight.

A good performance considering what's gone on. Much the better side and all Newport had was that long throw, proper Sunday League stuff.

We were the much better side. Thought we were unlucky in front of goal... unlike some games when we have just been shite.
