Durrell stupidly got himself booked and will miss the Wrexham game, without him we seem completely unable to score/do anything.

Don't even know if that counts as a smash and grab. We didn't sound good enough to deploy that game plan!
I'll take that , how many times have we battered teams only to have a smash and grab go against us, it happens to all teams.

A bit of karma for the late goals conceded at Sutton and Maidenhead but by Christ that's papered over a shit load of cracks

Few things, Lowe is really good, so was number 20, Marsh (?) was always offside and Shwan Jalal is a good name to say out loud.

Pools played well for 85 minutes, not a bad performance from any of them, just badly let down by a manager who is looking more and more out of his depth as the weeks roll by, we may as well just send the three points down to Dover and not bother travelling.

We've just lost to Solihull. Can't tell whether this is our new worst ever result. Think it might be.
I hate to indulge in schadenfreude, no that's a lie, I absolutely love when football produces such results and just want to keep on talking about it. Two possibilities. This is rock bottom, from which everyone wakes up and begins to pull in the right direction. The other, it is just the middle of a slide to the regional leagues. I suspect the former, but would love to stare and comment endlessly as if witnessing a horrible car crash. So which is it?

Sacking Davis was rock bottom, from which everyone should wake up. Being utterly trounced in Torquay last week was rock bottom, from which everyone should wake up. This is, I'm afraid to say, a slide to the regional leagues. 15 without a win now.

If there's one thing guaranteed to take the sting out of any defeat, it's watching the wankers on our home forum eating each other alive afterwards. :fl:

We're going down, by the way. :bdick:

Harrison kept players locked in changing room 90 minutes, (after the game that is, but add on the last 20 in the game that we switched off at, then 110)

He's not appeared for the press conference after the game

Journalists still waiting...hmmm

Has he gone? Surely not. Don't think we can afford to sack him. I want him to succeed but this isn't good enough. And he's not learning.

He's surfaced and basically repeated what he says after every other defeat.

Like you say we don't have the clout to sack him even if Pools wanted to, I still think he deserves to see this season out but it's getting harder and harder to defend him when he can't see obvious weaknesses in the team today that everyone in the crowd could.

You almost made me cry when I saw that.

He does deserve more time no matter how frustrating our league position is. Played well for 70 minutes then started sitting deeper, Macc were never in it. Munns was blowing out his arse because he never gets a game, fitness wise we were terrible out there. But he never hooks any fucker. Hawkins could've come on much earlier. Go 451 or bring on a bit of pace off the bench to kill them off, not retreat to the 18 yard box with 11 players who looked completely knackered.

He does this shit all the time and he's just not getting it. Doesn't know our best side or formation or how to set up a team to win games.

We were as poor as we were last week, we were pathetic apart from 2/3 players, one of which was our goalkeeping coach who went in goal and looked like he dived too slowly to stop the goal as well. We didn't even create a single clear chance.

Edinburgh tried a few different things in terms of formation and Personnel, but he didn't get the reaction from the players. Some of them aren't good enough, some of them have lost all belief they once had. Solihull out worked us all over the pitch, they forced us into errors like Torquay did and we found no rythem in trying to get into the game and they hadn't won in 2 months.

If Edinburgh thought the job he'd taken was a tough one, today it must've looked like mission impossible for him

Also Bondz N'Gala can go fuck himself back to Dagenham, he has been fucking pathetic for the last two weeks. His stupid and needless challenge which led to the goal was nothing short of shocking, he also loses countless headers and when he does he cannot direct them. Whoever decided to send Marc Ellis back and bring him in needs sacking.

Orient's last 2 games have shown how shit we are and could only manage a draw.
At least when we played yourselves we showed desire and commitment with a man down to at least not lose, these last two games we've just decided to give up.

I don't think there is enough room in the bottom four for all of us.

Our game at Deva Stadium on 20th February (Tuesday) should be interesting. Last time you played there you wanted to lose the game so your manager would get sacked (think it was Tommy Taylor iirc). You ended up winning 5-1 and the manager was there for ages after. We won the game at Brisbane Road 2-1 near the season's end and looked like we might just stay up, but we lost 0-1 at home to 9-man Carlisle United which just about summed us up.

I don't think there is enough room in the bottom four for all of us.
I'm clinging to the two games in hand lifeline and the hope that we can only improve from this point.
We've already won our fa cup final at Accrington and used up every ounce of luck in doing so in the replay so fully expect a thrashing at Mansfield today. It sounds like there will be around 800 of us making the trip so the atmosphere will be great regardless.

Enjoyed the day out in Torquay despite not picking up 3 points.
Thought Torquay looked a good side, and they'll be disappointed not to have won as they had the better chances. No chance they'll go down on that performance.
As for us, we looked like a side that played on Tuesday night with 10 men. Need to get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Makes me laugh when people say we are shite. We have the best defensive record in this league. .. up front we don't score enough, but holroyd has scored almost a goal every 2 games since returning from injury. We are 2nd only on goals scored ...I'll take being this shit if results keep on coming. Hopefully we will make a few additions in January, as we are still hampered by the transfer window.
