Some dodgy rumours about Gini wanting out, but that's about it. We need depth and got plenty of that now. I think Shaqiri will be used interchangeably in the front line anyway so cant see him being a midfielder for us.

For <14 mill, a snip for a player of his quality.

Great signing for that money, not much Stoke could have done with the relegation clause though.

Yeah it's a bit sad that West Ham seem to be making a number of good signings. We can only hope that all these signings unsettle the already fractious dressing room and Gail Platt's poor man management skills fails to bring em all together.

Daley Blind on his way back to Ajax. Has been a good servant in his four years here.

Aye delighted with that, he's supposed to be the real deal. Looks like he is going to get opportunities this term too (once he recovers from his long term injury).

The lad was widely coveted by some of Europe's top 'cherry pickers' absolutely delighted he's decided to sign with us.

Do other teams announce u23 development signings on there main page the way Wolvez do? Mildly irates me but seems to make our worst type of moron fan explode with rage.

Remember when some England fans were insisting Pickford was better than Alisson?

You should - it was only last week.

I wonder if this transfer would have happened had Karius not made two mistakes in the CL final. Would have been viewed as quite harsh had he had a decent or not memorable game.

I'm surprised Real didn't go for Alisson.

Hold on here , Liverpool cherry picking ? The gall of it ,procuring a world class keeper ,specifically strengthening key areas ,that's only something teams with a plan do .......isn't it ?

Is that Klopp quote doing the rounds genuine? The one about how he hates spending money or some shit?

Yeah, it is, but it's not as clear cut as ABL's (hehehe) would have you believe.

Our net spend under Klopp is still far below that of Guardiola and Mourinho, the wages we're paying is a world and a half below and the money we've spent on our two record signings (Alisson and Van Dijk) is covered by the Coutinho sale.

Aside from that, he's also a bit of a hypocrite.
