Good at defending works hard and quick but crossing and final ball is awful.
Flat back 4 good signing anything else avoid
He’ll be back up to our first choice Duxbury if he does sign - we do switch to a wing-backs quite often so that’s a worry.

Goalkeeper Alex Bass signs from Pompey on a season long loan deal. Seems a great catch after signing a new 3 year deal before coming to us.

Was on loan previously at Salisbury, any Salisbury fans able to give an opinion on him?

We've just signed Joe Quigley.
Looking at his record its not exactly a signing that makes me think our goal scoring problems will be sorted anytime soon.

He was dreadful for us, but then again so was Joe Pigott. Big lad, but probably not a goalscorer - another Sam-Yorke I think.

I'm sure we've had him at some point. All he ever does is go on loan to Conference sides for about 5 games.

Gainsborough have signed Ross Hannah, decent signing for that level.

Bradley Bauress has signed for Southport.
The step up from whatever league Witton Albion are in to the National League was too big for him. Clearly had ability, but his decision making was poor and he seemed a bit light-weight. Might do a job in the National North though.

And Kingsley James has signed for Guiseley. On the evidence of his time at Barrow (I know others would disagree), he's easily good enough for the National League, and will dominate in a lower division next season.

We've managed to keep hold of a decent number of players this summer, much better than previous. Still have Hodgkiss, Lowe, Fitzpatrick, Durrell, Lloyd, Whitaker, Wilson, Blissett, Marsh, Arthur from last year. And added a handful of new recruits to that as well.

How we'll get on, i'm not sure. Really happy with Mark Yates coming in as gaffer, should hopefully continue the footballing style of Askey, but with maybe a more physical side to us too. I think we'll survive, but don't think it will be comfortable most of the season!

Good luck .. made up that you tossed off all the moneyed sides last season.

We’ve signed Jonny Smith on a season long loan from Bristol City.. he was at Fylde last year and I think he was the tricky quick winger but looking for someone to correct me?

He’ll link up well with Rowe again well..

That's him, he'll be fine at League Two level.

You're probably right as he (and others) were so poor for us last season because they allegedly downed tools.

Dreadful for us last year. Was a goal machine in pre season but don’t think he ever scored competitively and was sent back early.

James has a nice honeymoon period wherever he goes, he was only actually at Barrow for as long as that.

His entire career has been of good starts then dropping off.

apparently ripped teams to pieces in the U23 league though after that

no ones particularly excited, but it would be nice for him to surprise us all

Nuneaton have signed former Guiseley man James Wesolowksi.

They have also signed goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi. There is a blast from the past for all Wrexham fans!

Very good young player. Lightweight but rapid. Was our biggest threat going forward last season. Created so many goals from dragging people out of position. Not sure he’s good enough for football league yet but a good player none the less

Perhaps Weso has the skills to deal with the Rugby Club barriers?
They'll only see him actually playing football about one game in ten as he's made of glass.
The season before last he was out for months after tripping and falling off the coach at an away game

Brilliant keeper 85% of them the time, then he has these random moments where he seems to forget what he's doing

Guiseley will be ideal for him … probably the least travelling he's ever had to do!

Decent signing for them and with Damian Reeves there, too. Look to have plenty of goals in them this season.
