£38 to pay on the night too, don't think many will be taking that option up. Brum have sold 724 for Bolton so only Leeds will be taking 4 figures out of 10 clubs, sky's red button has an instant effect then.
Cannot get my head around Birmingham’s away support. Got to be one of the most unpredictable in the division. You never know whether they’re going to take 5k or 750 odd. Normally whatever I predict, they do the opposite.

I think we'll scrape it but yeah I agree with you. Wank followings all round really, ours included, but it's obvious why.

The PL gets a grossly elevated amount of TV monies meaning paying supporters are almost peripheral unlike at our level though, if monies were more evenly spread then prices maybe fairer

I highly highly doubt it would make any difference, in fact the more money this league generates, the better standard it gets and the more owners can “excuse” putting prices up even more. The greed amongst Premier League owners is arguably worse anyway hence why the £30 cap came in in the first place, it’s not like they’re doing it out of the kindness of their heart.

If Preston went up I don't think they'd fill it every week unless they gave everyone the full 5.7k , only 10k home fans their the other day wasn't there? Would have to pretty much double the home support. However give it a few seasons and the huge club from south Wales will be back down to those very figures.
I think we would tbh. A lot of the bandwagon United and Liverpool fans would get season tickets to watch Premier League football.

We’ll never know as we’re never going up anyway.

Wigan were just shy of averaging 20k in the prem apart from their first season. I'm sure Preston wouldn't be far off themselves.

We would definitely average over 20k in the Prem if Burnley can manage it. Don't think we would see sell outs against the likes of Palace and Brighton though, depends if we do cheap tickets season tickets like Wigan and Blackburn did, doubt we would though.

But as Tom says, it'll never happen anway.

Nope. This saturday
Surprising that, I know it's not the best away but it's not too far away and you've just won a couple on the spin. Had the same amount there in midweek last year didn't you?

It's not that bad if you stop in Manchester for most of the day.

Suspect there won’t be many high followings at Bolton this season mainly due to price and train problems.

No trains to horwich and people are tight twats who won't get a cab.
We did that last week - our train was 7pm ish back to Bristol so we got a cab from outside the ground after and had a few drinks in Northern Quarter. Was only about £7 each between 7 of us.

Shite away if not though, northern Reading.

How many years have there been no trains to Manchester to Horwich?
We went 3 years ago, and last season, and had to get buses or go via Wigan bith times. We've got them next month and it's the same again.

Good number that to be fair. Quieter than I thought you would be though, barely heard anything before your goal.

Wish they would just fucking disconnect Bolton from the lines, no reason to go there anyway

Just over 1,000 tickets sold for trip to Reading a week on Saturday, surprisingly going to make Friday's general sale.
Two poor performances at Wigan and Brentford seems to have put many off, plus Reading is one of less appealing away fixtures of season.
