Well I hope you play well coz I'll be watching.
I'm sure they will, especially with the knowledge we're now under your vigil. Although if I was you I would keep my beady on the PSG game,Belgrade is an intimidating place to visit and the atmosphere inside the ground is hostile ,I mean we all know how these expensively assembled squads have a tendency to fold in on themselves if things aren't going according to plan, you only have to look at Liverpool's recent visit as testimony to that.

Have a bad feeling about this with that line-up. Matip and TAA on the right, and the workmanlike midfield all selected. We have to go for this, not pussyfoot around.

1-0 up for the Reds. Game isn't great and I'm expecting more (much, much more) of Napoli. Ospina a bit shit on Salah's goal.
Hope for a better second half really.

Alisson won us points against Everton, won us points against Burnley and saved us today.

What a fucking keeper.

Congrats Liverpool and Tottenham. Well done!

Even more joy for me that they advance instead of the two Italian clubs. Great evening
(Dortmund also reached #1 spot because Atletico could only get a 0-0 in Bruges)

Napoli were complete rubbish. Didn't show up at all. Bit like Liverpool at our place. Story of the group I guess.

What a pair of total pussies.
Well it was a close run thing in the end, and needed another brilliant save from the best keeper in the world this season to keep Napoli out in stoppage time; but we deserved it on the pattern of play.

You lot next!!!

Oh I'm not talking about your match tomorrow. ;)
Oh, the match on Sunday.

It's at Anfield, United are awful and Liverpool are challenging for the title - you are expected to win.

Any hint of trepidation from yourself or any of the Liverpool fans on here will be interpreted as an official diagnosis of smallballitis.

I was very impressed by his passing especially in the second half. Extremely assured and yes saves the day at the end.

Fuck it. 3 times Premier League. Worse than I had hoped. And PSG even with a chance to survive the 1st knockout round :D

I feel very confident against Bayern, but they're no Porto. I think we'll win at home by two clear goals and draw away.

Spudz with the worst possible draw there ,Dortmund are flying at the minute and they were the team I was most fearful of drawing. Bayern will struggle with the energy and pace of our front three and the manager knows them well ,so the element of surprise is removed straightaway. All in all albeit from Spudz its a good draw for the English contingent ,I think United will beat PSG at home and sneak a draw at their place to successfully advance ,City have the most straightforward tie to negotiate and the easiest draw of the four.

No VVD in the home leg remember, but if Gomez is fit and sharp, hopefully we can keep them quiet. I'm happy enough with the draw - a proper European heavyweight unlike some of the sides we faced last season on the way to the final.

Should be fun.

Would be pretty pissed off if we didn't beat the shit out of them. Still Mourinho is a good tactician that can most certainly play to his team's strengths so it could get interesting. I'll try and get to the game at Old Trafford with the club, if I can't I don't think I'll bother; prices to Manchester have already gone through the roof on skyscanner.
For the rest I expected Dortmund to knock out Spurs and Liverpool to knock out Bayern. The pick of the round is mos def Atletico/Juve. Massive, massive game. Juve are my favourites to win the whole thing.
