New depths being plumbed by Herr Klopp here.

You've got to ask yourself, have we seen the nadir? Or is he willing to go even lower?

They need to ditch the perennial runner up asap and splash out on a born winner imo. Like Mourinho for example.

Complete lack of class from Jurgen. You wouldn't see Jose making excuses like that. Also great point made by top Liverpool fan king halane in the first reply. Henderson is indeed shit at the footballings.

So it's the proverbial 'Shit or bust scenario, one game left at our place to sink Napoli on goal difference. I will be there because my sufferance under this team has evidently still got legs.
Still,a packed Anfield on European nights is a wonderful place to behold and can induce the well renowned twitching sphincter effect for our opponents. I certainly wouldn't write us off just yet ,but a victory against Napoli devoid of them snatching an away goal is a big ask and if he opts for the same midfield then its tantamount to searching for Shangri La in Jesus sandals.

I've got nowhere to go with that reply ,which implies its either a statement you truly believe to be true or a calculated attempt at unadulterated evil by throwing the Jonah on us :bg:
It's genuine, I think you'll progress with a 3-1 or 4-2 win, something like that. The fans will be up for it and Klopp will make sure the players are up for it.

No qualms over the fans input ,its the latter part of your post pertaining to the manager wrestling a modicum of passion from a team that 'of late' look woefully short of that particular trait.

I'm just hoping my first impressions on our European campaign are wrong and the manager isn't sacrificing Liverpool's involvement in this competition for a concerted tilt at the title, lest we forget the effect of devaluing and undermining this trophy had on our former incumbents longevity as Liverpool manager. I can only speak for Kopites when I state that some of us even take holidays from work based around our involvement in Europe so to show any tangible form of disinterest is frankly unforgivable.

PSG's diving isn't an excuse or a reason why we lost really, we were shit and they were good and had we scored twice they'd have scored three.

However, it is genuinely disgraceful what they do especially at the end of matches (Marquinhos vs Marseille is hands down the worst I've seen in regards to diving in my life, Silva tried something similar yesterday). And when someone like Silva goes from going 80 games without picking up a yellow for Milan to, well, this, it's obvious he's been instructed.

It's one thing having dirty players, we've all got them. It's another to get players previously rightly perceived as honest to act like the worst you'll see anywhere else. Which is what Tuchel has got this PSG team doing, and it absolutely is worth pointing out.

Well you are decrying Klopp and the side in one instance, then saying we'll get through anyway in another. Can't have it both ways matey! :D
You'll get through and Klopp's whining will seem even more pathetic in hindsight.

Particularly when you dive to win a penalty and he doesn't care.

Just watch, friend.

If we've got to join the cheats to proceed, so be it. City and you lot do it all the time anyway. ;)

2 dives in 15 seconds from the honourable Liverpool red shirts. One of them was, of course, known cheat Mo Salah. Not quite as talented as his top mate and fellow cheater Sadio Mane, who was able to successfully con the match official in to giving Liverpool a penalty which resulted in their only shot on target and a goal.

Personally, I believe Sergio Ramos is to blame for their defeat.

No one is saying Liverpool players never dive. No one on here is blaming the defeat on diving, either. And no one has mentioned Ramos. Are you familiar with the term whataboutism?

There's a reason Neymar consistently gets called out on it (and has since he was 17) and it has nothing at all to do with Salah or Lovren (who's behavior in the clip is embarrasing, fwiw). Stop being an apologist, PSG is a ridiculously dirty side. The only time you'll see worse than what they produce on a regular basis is el Clasico, which for me is pretty much unwatchable.

Would the use of the word enigma in a sentence be a more courteous way of saying twat ? :bg:

Liverpool played badly for 90 minutes in Naples, for 70 in Belgrade and for 60 in Paris.

All this makes sense, because things are going very well in the PL (see yesterday's victory for example).

As I said in an old post, Naples could pass this turn.

I think that few people know Naples because you should see the matches of the Italian league.

In Anfield everything can happen because it is a magical stadium but I assure you that the favorite of that match is not Liverpool.

I can of course only speak for myself ,but when I take my place in the Kop on Tuesday night I expect the magic to emanate from the fans who fill the ground . Anfield , is just a stadium, a very illustrious stadium yes ,but still only a vessel for the noise. I'm sure Napoli will not be underestimated when they tip up at our place and complacency will not be an issue ,so its with total unswerving conviction that I can only see Liverpool as firm favorites for the win and its 40,000 fans believing this to be true that imparts the magic fella.
