When Leeds came out with that statement against what he did, I thought then he wouldn’t like that.

Managers don’t typically resign in a press conference. My guess is he’ll just address the issue and apologise again.

So in summary, bielsa knows more about all opposition teams than their own manager does..

Derby are fucked for the rest of the season now. Every manager has a guidebook on how to beat them.

Yeah that, again, got a bit weird when he started sharing our the tactical information they collected on us for 51 games.

Just a big smokescreen to divert people away from the spying bit.

Tbh it looks like this info is available online anyway but people don't have to search much further now he's put it out there!

300 hours of work, paid off in the end I guess. Find it hard to believe the club didn't know their own employees were spending almost 2 weeks on it.

Yeah, thought it was a bit harsh him focusing most of it on derby.. wouldn't of been so bad had he used examples from other clubs but he effectively told the rest of the league some key info most other clubs wouldn't of been arsed to find out for themselves..

Think he's proved that read dedication and hard work yields positive results though, begs the question though- if he had all of this information based off watching every single game of the opposition.. why feel the need to send someone to spy? Doesn't sound like it serves much purpose

Just a big fuck you for kicking up a fuss I think.

Dunno, maybe incase any late changes are made, tactical or personnel wise. He would have known Harry Wilson wasn't fit by sending his youth to ours last week. How much he actually gains from that I do not know.

The only issue here is the getting caught bit for me. Police on the scene and interrupted our training, that's the shitty bit. No excuse for our performance however, Leeds used the spy thing in their favour I thought, we should have but didn't.

Must say I thought you were really bad against Leeds, so some might say the spy thing didn't make a difference because you were tbat bad. But on the other side bielsa could of adjusted tactics to nullify your threat and make you that bad..

Either way, could be only marginal gains made but in some cases it could be quite significant based on what's seen at the training pitch

Got to say, I like him. The site was offline when this all blew up late last week, but I find the whole outrage towards him and his tactics a bit pathetic. Keown talking about breaking morals codes, this coming from the hypocrite who jumped around van Nistelrooy when he missed that penalty against Arsenal.

Football has such a wonky moral compass. Apparently taking last man fouls, deliberately handballing on the line, kicking the ball away, constant time wasting, these are all acceptable. But one team spies on another and it's country wide condemnation. Pfft, give me a break. So the guy sent a staff member to watch Derby's training sessions, big deal.

Lampard has also embarrassed himself, claiming he didn't think AVB spied for Mourinho back in his first Chelsea stint, when it's pretty much common knowledge that he did. Fair play to Bielsa and his staff, that is a ridiculous amount of work, but it clearly pays off and I think the players see his dedication and buy into his style because of that. You don't graft your bollocks off 25+ games and get the results they have if you aren't fully behind him.

I love his power flex press conference where it was essentially an hour of him saying "look how awesome I am!". Respect to the fella.

It’s been blown out of proportion but it’s cheating, plain and simple.

Done fuck all basically, come out and said he's done it all year so fair play, he or Leeds don't deserve any punishment whatsoever, move on get over it, it's a complete non story, Leeds are top because of his management, not someone spying, well technically it's not spying most of the time as you can go and watch teams train anyway. I think this will only make them even better and more determined unfortunately for the rest of us.

Scott carson said training stopped for a minute or 2 they didnt know what was going on then they carried on , but frank twisting it again , 15 hours watching leeds videos to bielsas 15 hours on each derby player, still it keeps the pressure of franks results

Does it really matter if it's a minute or an hour? It was interupted by an employee of another club which is crossing the line IMO. I think cheating is strong but it's bad taste.

Whats up with Franks results? Doing alright for a rookie. I don't think too many Derby fans are losing sleep after losing at 1st and 2nd in the league away from home.

Can someone explain somewhat exactly DCFC have done wrong in this sorry saga?

Seems to me we're being painted as the guilty party by a lot of people.

But scott carson said he didnt know what was happening ,a member of the public called the police because someone was outside on the public highway , players stop for a few minutes and carry on training ,now if that disrupted there training what happens when a player is injured in training and training stopped for say an ambulance to come same thing isnt it , the players didnt know who was outside just the police dealing with something outside ,its clever scouting not cheating ,it goes on all over football even at chelsea when frank played, now if frank stood on a public path watching another team train you can bet your life it would be the young up and coming manager getting everything for his data learning his way etc ,

Trying to use it to his advantage by reporting it but then it backfired on derby , wonder if he took orders from a laundry basket or said no thats not how we do things , wonder if AVB is lieing or frank , wonder if a man on his hand and kness with pliers gets lets go by the police , one thing bielsa been honest , cant say the same for frank ,still i think leeds will love siege mentality now

I guess it is the same thing if this guy is driving the fucker.

It's not cheating as I said above but I think as soon as you get caught doing something like this you probably expect a slap on the wrists. (as you do diving, or foul play off the ball, time wasting etc etc when you get caught). We've both got different views on it and we're never going to agree so leave it be I reckon.

Wasn’t the guy who was sent to the training ground carrying wire cutters?

Either way. It’s cheating in my book. Leeds and Bielsa should be punished.

And any other club found to be doing it should also be punished.

It’s not clever scouting. Training grounds should be off limits.

But it isn’t. It’s visible from public land that he didn’t have to cut any wires to get to. It’s a complete non-story, bored of hearing about it.

Foul play , time wasting , diving isnt they something in the rule book about this that results in yellow/red cards etc ? But standing on the queens highway watching training isnt , if i stood there watching and tweeted harry wilson not training etc would that be cheating ? And didnt bielsa name his line up 48.hours before ?if no pablo hernandez then roberts would play instead ? But as its your team i get where your coming from , i just dont see why frank has to lie about AVB and police coming into training etc because its all on the police website , anyway good result for you at saints tonight.
