And the Cards have traded up. Pretty certain it’ll be Rosen.

Rosen is the pick then he slided further than I expected thought the Bills would of taken him as he was definately a safer pick.

I really like Vita Vea as a pick but Christmas has come early for some team with Derwin James still out there.

Vea is an absolute beast Bucs had a good pick but I thought Dolphins had a steal with Minkah.

Yeah doubt the Fins ever thought he would fall to their laps like that.

Saints trading up and have absolutely no idea what their intention is here. Could go a couple of ways.

Marcus Davenport? Well didn’t see that one coming! Fun viewing this.

Some serious talent falling into the laps of teams lower down the draft order. Trying not to get my hopes up that Edmunds or James are still out there at 23.

Derwin James finally off the board to the Chargers nothing to dislike about that pick interesting to see who packers are looking to grab.

Isaiah Wynn it is for the Pats. Don’t know much about him at all but O-Line was a definite need. Am good with that.

Disappointed with the Vikings pick, Hughes isn't a bad player but think Hernandez is better, OL is a more pressing need and I think by the time we pick later tonight there will be better CB options than OL. 3 1st round talent OL players still left IMO but expect them to go early, if one falls to us then great, if not I hope we steer clear of Orlando Brown and get Brian O'Neill.

Don't understand Cleveland's logic, not convinced about Mayfield anyway but definitely not in that environment, and whilst Ward is undoubtedly a top 10 talent, it really should have been Nelson there to give their QB a better chance of succeeding by working on plugging the gap left by Joe Thomas (Chubb bettter than Ward too but that line is probably their biggest strength so I can forgive not picking him).

Don't get the Giants logic either, Barkley is a damn fine player no doubt but are they likely to get a shot at a top end QB like that again soon? Especially once pick #1 wasn't Darnold, Eli has historically taken a battering and they've had no run game to speak of for years, so I'm not convinced yet that there's enough in front of Barkley to allow him to maximise his potential early on, despite the Solder signing in FA, but they do have plenty of OL options available to them at #34, if they don't go for Mason Rudolph, but that's unlikely I think.

Good work NYJ, Miami, Arizona and LAC, with nods to Denver and Indy for making the right pick when others may not have. Raised eyebrows to Buffalo for the Allen pick alone (great second pick but still, they will regret passing on Rosen), New Orleans (overpaid, fine with not taking Jackson there but shouldn't have moved), Seattle (wrong position, wrong player, why on earth would you spend a 1st on a RB with the worst OL in the league in front of him?!) and Pittsburgh (reach). Baltimore the biggest boom or bust, but worth a gamble I reckon, good spot for Jackson to land in where he can sit for at least 1, maybe 2 years, and Baltimore still get value out of his rookie deal if it comes off.

Still some very good players on the board, definitely a deep draft class.

It's more suprising that Cleveland went with Mayfield I felt certain it was going to be Darnold it will be interesting to see how Mayfield does but personally I can't argue going with CB Browns had need in the secondary and some good pass rush and O line talent has dropped into the second so they probably can take there pick from there

I agree totally I think it is a major mistake not taking the QB when they had the oppurtunity and let him develop behind Eli and when the time comes they want one now it will likely cost an insane amount of draft capital or they go down the colts route and suck for luck and a Running Back only adds a limited value especially how deep the class is at running back with only safety probably deeper.

Jets probably never expected Darnold to drop to them I think definately they was looking towards Mayfield/ Rosen and Minkah was an excellent pick for Dolphins he was someone I thought the Browns could of picked up at 4 As for Allen I am not certain if it is the right situation for him especially with the Bills QB situation he could be called on fairly quickly into the season and really he needs sitting and working on his mechanical issues

I shouldn't be surprised by Cleveland, yet they manage to do it every year it seems.

Happy with Payne as our pick, although I suspect we would have taken Vea if he was still on the board. Addresses our biggest need by far.

As a bills fan I love the pick of Edmunds, as with Preston Brown gone we had a huge hole at linebacker.

As for Josh Allen, I don’t like taking a QB with under 60% completions, but some of them throws look beautiful. Now hopefully McDermott sits him behind AJ McCarron for a year. Listening to him and Mayock speak they seemed to feel his accuracy issues come from poor footwork. Hopefully they can fix it . Saying all this I was hoping they would of gone with Rosen, although he did look a bit like a spoilt kid. Will definitely be interesting to see how he goes in Arizona. I bet jets fans a ecstatic right now.

Yeah Bills rolled the dice with Allen if they can sort out his accuracy issues Bills have got the best QB in the draft without a shadow of a doubt the throws he can make you can't not love personally i think Ravens also rolled the dice with Jackson I am not convinced he can do it at the next level Dual threats it's rare they make it at the next level.

You knew the Eagles wouldn't let last years draft slide with Pearson's announcement which I still think is the GOAT and I wonder how long Akers prepared for it while Pearson's seemed more off the cuff in reacting to the hostility of the Eagle's fans

Curious strategy the last couple of days from the Pats. Constantly trading back when due to be on the clock. Twice as many trades as picks made. Lost track of what we’ve got for the Jimmy G trade now.

Good early response with six spots taken already. Will finalise the league details later when my headache dies down.

Any preferences for draft date, settings etc?

Draft has been set for Sunday 26th August at 6pm.

Score settings have been left at default.

We have 10 spots with 8 taken so far. If all 10 spots are taken then top two receive a bye into the semi final and 3rd-6th make playoff rounds. If no more sign up then league will be 8 teams with top 4 making playoffs.

I can't do that weekend Craig, I'm away in Edinburgh. Any chance you could push it closer to the start of the season?
