What are we gonna do for 3 bastard months with no football?
I'm gonna have to do all the crap jobs around the house that I've been promising the Mrs I would do if you don't give me some ideas!

Indeed Craig, gigs and holz it is.

It'll be August before we know it, can't believe we're in fucking May already. Christmas seems two minutes ago.

It's alright we have transfer season up shortly. It's nearly been a year since I was harping on about us signing Anderson Talisca and Luisao.

Oh and we have some cricket and F1.

Pursue one of my many other interests probably.
I have to get a pass out for them though. She ain't gonna let me play golf or go to Taunton for the cricket when there's fences to paint! Miserable cow. :(
We're off to the South of France for a couple of weeks I suppose.

We're all going to vote labour and then cry about Blukip getting a huge majority... Well, that's my plan anyway.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Normally by this point I'm almost glad to have a little break from the stress of it all, and for at least the first few weeks of summer I enjoy the peace without feeling too bored. But actually this season has been the most chilled out in years, and for one reason and another I haven't been able to do quite as many games as I'd normally do. So actually I'll be sorry to see the season end and will probably start missing it immediately. No international tournament to tide us over either, although maybe that's a good thing given England these days.

Another vote for odd jobs around the flat that the misses will bug me about, occasionally wondering around such depressing places as Homebase and Dunelm *shudders*. Plus spending some weekends visiting my and her families *shudders again*.

Big night of Birmingham boxing next weekend, Butlins football tournament the weekend after, a couple of golfing weekend tournaments, one in Tewksbury one in Dorset and nice holiday in Ibiza with the fam to round it off.

I'm unusually quite happy to have a break from football for a couple of months!!

Been looking forward to the close season since late September.
Still, season tickets all sorted for next season.
Hope springs eternal in the human breast as they used to say!

Off on my summer holidays, enjoy the sun and beer and come back excited for friendly games to start which just shows you how football starved I'll be. Hoping our season extends to the end of May and a win at Wembley because it'll be a summer of celebration.

Very nice, Cannes for me and the family. Family resort about half an hour away from the glitz. Really looking forward to that but my lad is doing his GCSE's this / next month so we have to get that out of the way first.

I usually go to the States for 2 weeks, been doing that every year since I was 22, but this time a few of us are keen to try somewhere comepletely different, I've been to Texas in July, I just pray India isn't any hotter in June , can cope in 33c or below, any more and I fucking struggle

I've been to Asia quite a few times and found the humidity more of an issue than the temperature TBH. I would imagine, being by the sea, that shouldn't be so much of an issue. Inland, I would imagine it's pretty oppressive for humidity and temperature?
Enjoy!
