Terrible game between us and Altrincham. We didn't look interested and basically just stood still and let them do what they wanted. Still couldn't do us a favour and knock us out.

Typically after a game with them we gain a load of injuries as well. Strangely chanted 'cheat' at our keeper for supposedly feigning an injury. All this whilst his kit was soaked in his own blood.

Trafford 1 Darlington 3

Good lord we've actually pulled through after a shaky start, completely dominated most of the game apart from sitting deep for a short spell in the second half inviting Trafford to come at us and rightly so equalize. I knew that was coming.

Took a while to break them down with a packed out defense, but a well taken Thommo opener secured the half-time lead. The ever alert Campbell was first to react to the keeper's block from a delightful whipped in free kick from Thommo. Donawa saved the best till last with a delightful header in the top corner. Overall was a little bit frustrating at times but a result is a result and that's what we got! Job done.

Once again Hatfield ran the show what a player, also Campbell had a decent match and O'Neill. I thought we changed a few gears when the subs were introduced.

A decent little ground with plenty of grass banks to sun-bathe on with lots of drinks flowing for the large following, and a stack of food outlets. Hospitality was brilliant we got a great welcome.

Thanks for a pleasant day Trafford :10:

Could still be playing now and wouldn't score. No urgency in the side at all today a complete change from last week.

77 games today, I've flagged a few upsets:

Bradford PA 2-4 Morpeth
Telford 0-3 Nantwich
Beaconsfield 1-0 Hemel
Corinthian-Casuals 2-0 Chelmsford
Margate 3-1 Concord
Tooting & Mitcham 1-0 Dorking
Hadley 1-0 Ramsgate
Biggleswade Town 1-2 Ware
Enfield Town 2-0 Braintree
Tiverton 2-4 Bristol Manor Farm
Tavistock 4-0 Highworth

Hadley and Tavistock the only step 9 teams through, plus the winner of the Walthamstow v Abbey Rangers replay.
Id add Telford 0-3 Nantwich

Just 2 NLN clubs out as it stands. (Telford and Bradford PA)

I'd say it's got a very good chance of being the game that the BBC pick. Great draw for both clubs, we'll have a really good following there.

I agree. We've drawn away to Farsley Celtic again, after drawing them away last season in the FA Cup and away the season before in the FA Trophy. Not quite as much as you've ended up playing Stourbridge, but not far behind.

It's a joke. Not even regionalised to just Midlands for us at this point. 30 odd teams in the North and somehow we end up away at Stourbridge again. And it's always away we've not played them at home. I'm convinced it's fixed somehow.

Great tie for Buxton and a decent chance for Belper another local side if they can get through the replay

They're a bit strange.

Moaned their arses off to us to give them more space on Saturday only to bring a palty amount. I see they're treating us with usual contempt again tonight.

Well, at least we won't even have to bother going to Stourbridge to get beat this year.

Got what we deserved last night apparently. Despite having a perfectly good goal by Waring ruled out we didn't play well enough to go through. Eight games against these without a win now. I hope we can get our mojo back for Leamington on Saturday, but I'm sure Nick will have other ideas.

No cup run this year. First time in 9 years we have been knocked out this early. Had the chance to progress with the missed penalty in the original tie.

Valiant effort on the two legs. Huge blow to miss out on valuable prize money.

Time to concentrate on the league. Crucial game now on Saturday with the visit of Darlington. Must win.

Great draw that’s the only good thing about non league, never been to. Buxton.
Decent town, plenty of boozers and the trip over the tops through the Peaks via Chesterfield, Matlock & Bakewell or over Woodhead Pass from Sheffield way is a pretty good drive - with plenty of good boozers out in the country along the way
