We've signed Jordan Lussey, anyone know what he's like?

I'd have him back here in a heartbeat. Was brilliant for us prior to breaking his leg thanks to a reckless tackle from a Wrexham player which put him out for the season. Decent engine, great crossed of the ball, and not bad from set pieces.

Is the Boston Utd 0 Peterboro Sports 2 correct?

If so that's one helluva bit of giant-killing

How're you finding Elliott, Josh Butler?

Touched on it in the FA Cup thread, but he seems one to slag his players off most weeks. I can't imagine that way of managing it particularly productive, especially when he's signed 6 or 7 player who have generally done good jobs in divisions above and are presumably strong personalities.

I see Cieron Keane has join Basford on dual reg from Boston after making just 2 sub appearances. Doesnt look like he got much of a chance? Another wasted signing like Westcarr?

I fear for Nuneaton this year based on their display last night. 2-0 but there was a huge gulf - and the Nuneaton players' attitudes suggested they were too easily rather expecting to lose... Quite liked the number 7 though, but nothing much from anyone else...

Back to the bread and butter of league action then tomorrow with a full programme of games

Alfreton v Bradford PA
Ashton United v Leamington
Blyth v Telford
Brackley v Southport
Chorley v Chester
Curzon v Boston United
Darlington v Stockport
Hereford v Spennymoor
Kidderminster v Altrincham
Nuneaton v FC United
York v Guiseley

We welcome Bradford PA to the Impact. Our bogey team. 2 draws and 4 defeats in 6 meetings since relegation back to this level.

We are due a win then. Fingers crossed it wlll be tomorrow but it will be probably be an tough ugly battle. Huge game for both sides tomorrow as both sides come in on the back of two league defeats.

Several out injured for us tomorrow so the kids will be filling in again.

Point would be great considering.

Same for us, glad to see our academy players getting a chance and really flourishing.
Annoying isn’t it? We haven’t had a full squad to choose from all season but our injury list is only getting worse.

Got teenagers who should be focusing on our massive FA Youth Cup tie against Wrexham next midweek but instead are on first team duty this weekend and on Tuesday v Hereford.

They’re good lads but away to unbeaten Chorley is a different proposition altogether.

I'm not sure which team is gunna turn up for us tomorrow against Stockport. It'll be a toss up between The good, the bad and the ugly. We are absolutely atrocious at home.

I'd be happy with a draw against The Hatters!

Not the best of games, but a cracking atmosphere ruined by some absolute knob heads, including one of our"fans" throwing a bottle at their keeper.

Well that was absolutely wank quite frankly.

Both teams mustered about 3 shots between them in a dire game that will not last long in the memory.

And I hate Bradford PA. Thats no wins in 7 meetings and 3 times out of their last 4 visits they have shihoused a 1-0 win.

Today taught me one think and that is we need to replace Denton

Disappointed not to win today really as thought we were the better side, but there we go. Coming along nicely though with 4pts from the Chorley and Kiddy games with the game in hand coming up on Tuesday at home to Hereford.

First time for everything - home fans locked in after the game, usually the other way around.

Rode our luck against Alty, we weren't anywhere near our best but still won. If we're up there at the end of the season these are the results that'll have put us there.

Alty probably should've had a pen in the second half at 3-2 and also hit the post in the last minute.

But 3 well taken goals Ed Williams motm again, I can see why Villa and Leeds apparently want him. Another goal and assist for him, Bradley and Chambers also getting on the score sheet. Didn't think at the beginning of the season Ironside would be dropped but he benched today, he's not even in bad form just Chambers and Bradley are on fire.

Should add Alty are by far the best team I've seen us play. Really good passing game which if they were more clinical would be far more effective.

Yes, so many fluffed chances, hurts to watch sometimes. It didn't matter in the EvoStik, but it sure does up here

Getting really depressing now home matches, we just can't muster a performance that's worth talking about. Another uninspiring and boring display against Stockport today.

Excuses are wearing a bit thin now for Tommy Wright, great bloke, but clearly out of his depth in this league. His summer recruitment has been very disappointing on the field, apart from by sheer luck finding the right position for the solid Liam Hughes to slot in.

I think he has one last throw of the dice in a fortnight's time against FCUM! In which by the looks of the league table is already an absolute must win game. No pressure TW.

As the table shows things are not looking good for us, worrying times ahead and it's only 11 games in.

Stockport deserved their victory today they were a much better team.

What’s happened to Ainge thought he would be a great signing.
Have you realised Burn is not a good signing yet.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Home form killing Curzon this year, just got to keep going.

May be rivals but have to give massive credit to Ashton. Lost most of their best players in summer, crowds of less than 200 but they are giving it a heck of a go

Felt for your keeper, clearly unexperienced and can't have helped him spilling a shot and conceding after 37 seconds.

It sounds as though we failed to defend set pieces yesterday which has been a strength so far this season. I hope Scott Garner is back from injury very soon as he's been a rock in central defence. Terry Kennedy only just coming back after various knocks and looked very rusty.
