big games for me are Lincoln v Aldershot and Macclesfield v FGR
I'm taking the Shots to draw at LIncoln - even we won there ;) as Rhead seams to do poorly against good defences
Macclesfield v FGR is harder to call - i'd love to see a Macc win - but I think a draw is their best hope - prove me wrong guys...
Of the other games I'm hoping Chester can beat Tranmere - just to shut their fans up - but that looks a home banker
Daggers and Eastleigh should win their games and i'm expecting Barrow to get a result at Sutton - and also Ross Hannah to get a rare start for the Bluebirds on the artificial pitch

Interesting test for us, and we tend to do well against teams towards the top at home with Dagenham, Tranmere and FGR (albeit in the FA Cup) leaving GGL having lost. Hopefully ex-Carshalton Byron Harrison has a) a quiet game and is b) the subject of off putting but not offensive banter.

Alas I'll be at the Wales v Serbia game so will have to miss this treat

Vital match this one for us. Win and we go 9 clear of Southport, maybe as much as 12 clear of the drop, and it gives us a healthy cushion going into a tough run of fixtures. Lose and we're dragged right back in it.

Macc smashed us 4-1 at their place last year, so time for a bit of revenge.

Eastleigh and new ground this weekend, not sure what to make could be 6 new signings playing.
Been to 3 away games this season Gateshead lost 6-1
Guiseley lost 6-1
Curzon Ashton lost 2-1
So anything a improvement good job going to Wembley tomorrow to break it up.

Mills seems to be putting his stamp on team so maybe a draw

Another home game I'm missing due to illness (2.5 weeks housebound albeit 7 weeks of illness overall...). Toughie for us, and then FGR next weekend.

Aldershot seem good defensively but lack goals, particularly away from home, so hopefully that continues.

You're safe, it's not contagious. Got a gastroscopy next week.

Not a chance. We are the BEST footballing side in this league. Unless you stick everyone behind the ball and hoof it (as usual) then can see this getting very messy for you lot.

But please, come out and play. We'll enjoy it.

Edit. Although tbf you probably will football us to death tomorrow, cos we wont be there.

Expect us to win.

Hopefully Chester believe all the hype their players are giving it and they come and try to play football. We'll stick 7 past them then. Will be a lot tighter if they are disciplined and rigid back 9 like Norh Ferriby.

Ah you spotted my cunning plan to take 3 early points, and avoid having play at the weekend. Drat!

Lincoln away and after agonisingly narrow away defeats to Dagenham and FGR in the last couple of weeks i'm hoping it will be third time lucky for us although we seriously need to start taking more chances. Think we have had about 70 shots in the last 4 games and scored 2!

Personally I would drop Evans for Saville, and start Mensah instead of Allen if he is fit. Otherwise the team that started last week should be ok to give Lincoln a game.

November, plus the last game in October and the first game in December, always looked like the time when we would find out just how good this Rovers team really is. I would count myself as 50:50 pessimist and optimist, so I don't expect us to navigate those games unbeaten. We are pretty strong at home but less so on the road, I see Saturday as a huge banana skin, would happily take a draw but hope for more.

Looking forward to the game on Saturday. The confidence gained by 4 wins on the spin plus our 2 new latest signings should more than enough to see us beat a Chester side who undoubtedly better than last season, defensively at least, come to Prenton Park on the back of a heavy home defeat last time out. Expecting the biggest non league crowd of the season so far for this one probably in excess of 7000.

Game of the season. Maybe not for the neutral, but Chester will bring more than anyone else (Wrexham can't be bothered these days) so it should be our crowd of the season. Let's hope for a game that rises to the occasion.

Need a win but think we'll lose 2-1.
Same team that started at FGR, except Kanu for Walker (and playing in behind Rendell), and Mensah for Fenelon.

Objectively, the game at Macc is probably the pick of the games; will the hosts Cup run mean that their minds are elswehere and the Champions-elect walk off with all the points?

The Cheshire derby should be a decent game. While I think Rovers will edge it, the game should be fairly close. At the start of the week, Chester had only sold ~425 tickets, so unlikely they'll bring the same numbers as last season and I'm unsure that we'll top 7k.

It's not all-ticket.

The tickets are only for those who want to save £2.

The expectation is that we'll bring at least as many as last year.

I expect Tranmere to win comfortably, but I'd rather be playing yoos as Merseyside cops know what they're doing, unlike Cheshire and N Wales police.

The more that pay on the gate the better as far as I am concerned. More cash for the club. I looked at Chester`s site before and the latest sales are in the region of 700. I can see them bring around 1200 based on that which considering their average is less than 2k is a good effort in my opinion. Having said that a proportion of that following will probably be thatmob of Danny Dyer wannabees, some of whom are of an age (I mean the reasoning of why 10 to 15 grown men obviously in their 30 or 40s would wear Burberry baseball caps and hang around with a bunch of teenagers looking for trouble escapes me) who really should have known better, that turned up last season and tried to come the hard man in Birkenhead town centre scaring families out doing their shopping and will probably complain about the police when they are met at the station this time and are herded to the ground like cattle similiar to what happened to a similiar group of saddos from over the border a few weeks back.

The more Chester the merrier, thought you might have sold a few more advanced tickets tbh.

Neither of our Scouse neighbours playing, so my estimate a little low, but doubt we'll match last season's crowd.

Last time we played Macc with Coops in our ranks was in our EPIC FA Cup tie back in November 01. Remember it seemed to go on forever, latest I can remember a game finishing that I've been at (had school the next day) and being absolutely gutted at how unlucky we were and how close we got to our first ever league scalp. Macc had a young Rickie Lambert playing for them.

Note Coops putting in a typical no nonsense tackle early doors and then scoring one of his trademark cracking free kicks and soon after. Legend.

Quite confident about playing Woking, I expect us to be better than we usually are, therefore im going for only a narrow 1-0 loss.

Merseyrail have now put on a special SIX CAR TRAIN just for Chester fans tomorrow.

Eat your heart out Sparrow.

They just don't want innocent passengers to have the misfortune of being stuck on trains full of your miserable lot!

As for our match, I quite fancy us to get something out of Maidstone, we're looking more useful with each game that passes.
