    Fixtures 28th March

Just the two, and none Wednesday - AFC Wimbledon v Walsall Crawley v Grimsby Our final game in hand. Hopefully keep the unbeaten run going and widen the gap to the bottom 2, and jump a couple of places with a win.

    Tuesday 21st March

Bradford v Carlisle Crawley v Doncaster Gillingham v Crewe I hope we can maintain our recent form. A win for us and Gillingham losing would increase the gap to the bottom 2 and bring Colchester, Gillingham and Harrogate within reach. Two of the current bottom 6 to go down.

    EFL charge Macclesfield with misconduct

Carabao Cup - Crawley or Colchester?

4th Round tomorrow and another "sell out". We've had some good runs in the FA Cup, but this is by far our best run in this. Probably the best chance we'll get to reach a major quarter final. My first home game this season and I'm hoping it's worth the long trip.

    Trivia Alert

Of players we have out on loan, 1 scored tonight for Yeovil and another scored for Woking in the same game. (Smith and Meite). A third who scored 2 in the same game has played for us. A first?

    14th September matches

Crawley v Mansfield. A game I can't get to but I have seen us away recently and we've looked fairly good. We've also had a couple of new players in who haven't had game time yet. Will we see them today? Palmer has started the season looking interested, and Lubala keeps on scoring, defensively...

Notts County v Crawley Town 2/10

Couldn't be arsed with a witty title. Looking forward to this game but I have no idea how it will go. The travelling fans will certainly be looking for a result like last season. I'm also hoping we focus on supporting the team rather than giving HK a hard time (unless we happen to be winning...

Mid-Season February break in PL from 19-20 season.

One of the consequences - FA Cup 5th round will be mid week. Extra Time and penalties. https://www.efl.com/news/2018/june/efl-unaffected-by-201920-introduction-of-mid-season-player-break/

    13/2 - Luton v Crawley

We've pooped on Luton's party before - can we do it again? I'd be delighted with a point. We won't have the biggest following but I think we'll make some noise. We've a good record away at the top teams - apart from Wycombe.

FAO Swindon Fans - Pay what you can on 2nd April!

Our game on Mon 2nd April will be a minimum £1 entry but pay what you can above that. https://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/2018/february/06.02-pay-what-you-can-launch/ We did this last season against Hartlepool, and thought we'd do it again against another small team. As far as I know this...

    February

Chesterfield (a) Draw Grimsby (h) Win Luton (a) lose Lincoln (h) draw FGR (a) win 21 out of last 30 and another 8 will do for me to confound those who had us earmarked to go down. May even do better and have a cheeky tilt at 7th.

    Lincoln v Crawley 28/10

Without wishing to upset contributors here - https://www.onefootballforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/l2-matchday-threads-a-catalogue-of-failure.18010/ this is our first meeting and so I feel deserves it. More than our usual away attendance for the above reason. Looking forward to it. Our away...

    Craig Hignett leaves Hartlepool

    Crawley v Hartlepool 14/1

I'm sure Pools fans are aware, but this is a "pay what you can afford" match, something we haven't done before. http://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/article/2016-17/crawley-town-3454542.aspx I don't know if it will boost the away attendance, but it's put so far at least another 1000 on the home...

    Some sort of Record?

A former player and manager passed away recently, and in reading some of his achievements when with us I was struck by the following - Roy joined the Reds in 1964 after he was released by Brighton. Roy made 220 appearances for the Reds, scoring 38 goals - all penalties. He never missed from the...

Potential Table Toppers v Also Rans 27/8

Only a joke Ravenbish!! If result for Morecambe goes our way and we beat NC then we top the league. Not sure we'd still be there at the end of September though. Realistically looking for a top half finish.

    Ian Hands - Crawley Fan

I wouldn't normally post this sort of thing here, but Ian sadly passed away yesterday - http://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/article/crawley-town-3132704.aspx and I post this because he was very well known in the programme selling/collecting fraternity and some readers here may have known him. He...
