Easiest win of the season against a side I am confident we will be playing 2 bread & butter fixtures against next season. Now bring on our blood brothers, AFC Wimbledon for our love-in at The Shay in Round 2. Let there be wine, music and spaghetti...…… :woot:

I fully expect you to get another Football League scalp under your belts.

Maybe, I imagine there's quite a gulf between Conference and L1, but in actual fact, we don't count Micky Mouse Morecambe as a Football League scalp, no matter how long they've been there. :ds:

And he scored them from a cumulative total distance of 10 metres...
Did you never see Gerd Muller (there's plenty of examples of his "work" on YouTube, if you're interested)? IMO the greatest goalscorer of them all, never scored from outside the 6 yard box, most of them were tap ins, proof that the real goalscorer's art lies in knowing how to be in the right place at the right time...:ds:

BT commentator notices how quiet it is at Salford and puts it down to a 'tense' atmosphere.

Aye, that'll be it.

He should have been there when they used to have less than a hundred Salford fans at a home game. I'm willing to bet a good number of these bandwagon wankers have jumped ship from the other fake club in the Man U franchise who've now lost 2/3s of the fans who were up for it at the start in 2006. :ds:

I’ve seen his winning goal in the 1974 World Cup Final! He’s got better hair than Denton too..

And of course, in typical Pools fashion we concede a 95th minute penalty equaliser for a deliberate handball :fl:

Byron Harrison loves scoring in the cup at Bristol Rovers, specifically in 2-1 wins.

It seems like every week Hartlepool concede late goals at home to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hopeless, clueless, inept, nothing else to add. Didn’t even check the score for an hour and then decided to tune in. Big mistake as always. I’m done with pools for a while. More to life than this.

Could Master Bates be close to the ball sack?

At 31 he seems too young to be managing a Proper Club.

If you're at all curious his cock and balls are prominently displayed online, think he was trying to woo some ex Big Brother housemate by posing with his cheb out.

Too soon to be sacked for me, others may disagree, would like to see where we stand after the new year and go from there.

I completely agree. There is also the Santa Dash in Liverpool that Sunday morning which will make travelling through Liverpool even more of a pain in the arse. I'm hoping Merseyside Police see sense and put a block on it being played on the Sunday, but it's not like them to be sensible about such things.
Do you think you will bring many next week ? You only brought a couple of hundred fans to Prenton Park in the Conference, but I would guess this game is of a different magnitude for you.

Both clubs receive a fee from the BBC for switching to Sunday, so I think a change is unlikely.

Good result for us at Bristol Rovers, I'm not entirely surprised given how rubbish rovers are in the league especially at home and also Still is beginning to fashion a team that can play football and win! Not that long ago it was a league game so for us fans the beating league opposition isn't really a big deal... But winning away in a cup for Barnet especially Fa Cup is a rarity as we never get passed the first round.

Stockport at home so a big opportunity to get that tie away at Spurs and Barnet can finally play at Wembley.... Unless you remember 1972....we can all dream!

Finally its nice putting one over on Rovers again... They must hate little old Barnet!

I have a feeling that if Spurs are drawn at home in the third round of the cup, the tie will be played at Milton Keynes.

Was expecting more from Salford last night. They didn't seem to have any urgency or get up and go about them at all.

You can never be overly sure about the atmosphere over the TV but no-one really seemed arsed.

Who's Chestefield's number 29, btw? His 'run' for their third was painful to watch.
