Rashford is wasted out wide, Fellaini is far too limited to play dm, all very disjointed and little balance.

Chelsea on the other hand have a good balance with the wing backs, without Ivanonic and with Kante playing in a role more akin to his role at Leicester last season.

Do we even have Chelsea fans?

No, none here.

Haha Mourinho!!!!

Class by Chelsea. Conte has done an excellent job with the new formation.

United now without Bailley, City will do them as well for efl cup on tuesday lol

Am I surprised by this result? The answer is no.

'Burning up faster than if they were in a pan'chester United have shown the world (and their 'fans') that a "spend big and pray", anti-footballing attitude is a sure way to kill off a dying team. If anything, they've actually succeeded in coming up with content for their new book: "How to become the biggest joke of a footballing side and employ the most disgusting, financially and attention driven tactics the world has ever seen", though that may be a working title.

My question to 'Couldn't score even if their opponents were sat in the stand'chester United 'fans' is this: Who do you think your club should overspend another £85 million on this time? I mean, isn't that the 'Big smelly, pooey bum'chester United way? Spend ridiculous sums on mediocre players because you obviously won't be getting attention by winning anything this season?

Mourinho won't give a fuck, both domestic cups will be a distraction from finishing top 4 as far as he's concerned. If United fail to bag a top 4 spot again with the money they have spent in the last 2-3 seasons, Mourinho will rightly be castigated by all and sundry. I mean, £90m on one player who has had little effect so far.

And talking about Mourinho....

Arrrrrrrrr, bless. Was the nasty-wasty opposition manager mean to you? :(

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
0-0 or 1-1. Either way United likely to be involved in the most boring game for two consecutive weekends.
Hmm, I found it most entertaining.

So when Liverpool next lose to a struggling side, you won't comment on that match thread I presume :dk:

Opens thread again.

I just checked the stats and it turns out we actually had 56.1% of the possession, get in. What's all the doom, gloom and shitty memes about!?

Closes thread again.

500 minutes without a league goal for Ibra. Massive disappointment so far.

I am a simple man. I see a thread where United gets humiliated, I comment.

Bar Lingard in place of Young, it was the same team that played Liverpool. Difference being the team just totally capitulated in every manner possible. Mou was correct in saying individual mistakes cost us the game, the errors were not systemic. Smalling-Blind-DDG brain fart puts us on the back foot, the second goal throws any game plan out of the window. He trusted the same group of players from the Liverpool game, which I can understand irrespective of my view that players like Fellaini should not be anywhere near the squad.

I'd rather Mou have his wake up call now rather than later, though. He obviously doesn't know his best team yet and the dressing room is littered with bottlers and players who simply aren't good enough for a team looking to build for titles. Ibra has to be droppable or he'll become Rooney mk II.

I'd like to see Carrick with Pogba and Herrera in midfield. Rashford up top flanked by martial and Mkhy. Asap plez football gods.

He should know his squad well enough to know that Fellaini shouldn't be anywhere near his best eleven, though - as you mention.

Some things are self-evident and I don't know why he persists with Fellaini and, for example, shuns Schweinsteiger without giving him a chance or doesn't seem to like Schneiderlin.

The Mkhitaryan thing is puzzling, as well. He's been injured, fine. Why hasn't he been given fifteen minutes here and twenty minutes there to build up the match fitness Jose keeps saying he lacks?

I dunno wtf it is with United managers and Fellaini, seriously. It does my absolute nut in.

You sacrifice the the chemistry of your entire midfield for a guy who isn't even that good in the air.

To add, Ste (only just saw the rest of your post) Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Schweinsteiger are players I'd personally consider in the bottler/not good enough group. Which also includes Memphis, Jones, Rojo, Darmian. Can probably name a couple others.

That's a lot of players getting paid that offer fuckal to the team.

Makes you think.

Mourinho strikes me as the type of bloke who'd happily shun a player he's fallen out with even if it was to the obvious detriment of the team and its performance. Might explain Schweinsteiger not getting a look in. He might be over the hill but he has a lot to offer still.
