Considering where we are I'm happy with 9.6%...obviously clubs based in the middle should be exceeding that figure considerably...

In fairness Morecambe could be away at Lancaster and not manage that

Clown of an owner, changing managers left, right and centre, horrifically inconsistent performances and we will still be third in the averages by the end of the season.

FFS, I just wish we could have a positive season or two one day.

Notts have sold in excess of 700 in advance for todays game at Crewe hoping that around 1000 will travel which again is a ridiculous amount of support given how poor we are. When eventually we are remotely successful and the opposition sings "where we're you when you were shit?" We were there.

I don't normally but in defence of the Franchise, if you only counted their home fans and not included the oversize away visitors to Stad MK, their %age would be considerably higher.
I know that everyone's would also be higher but Franchises difference would be significant.

I think we’ve consistently been best in the country for % of home fans taken away for a few years. Wish it wasn’t that way and we had a few more turn up at home like...
Not sure of the exact year but I think it was our last year in non league, we averaged nearly 20% of home taken away at the end of the season and that was in a fairly Southern based league and with 10 of our 23 away games being night games.
I hated it in that league but our away attendances in it were ridiculously good.

Yeah, Oldham/Bury/Macclesfield/Crewe/Port Vale are in great league centric locations.

Think that figure is from before Oldham and Newport for us though so our average is around 850.

Good efforts from Lincoln, Mansfield, us, Oldham.

Table was to end of March- all April games yet to be included in the tables.

You spotted the anomaly which will be rectified for end of season- the % is a % of total attendance not home attendance.

It is still correct as long as you know what it is showing

That’s very poor for such an important fixture, perhaps there was something better on in MK like repainting the spots back on the concrete cows or something.
It's double what they've ever brought before. First year they played us, there was 38 of the scroats.

Yes, I remember they brought 150 in 2012-13 for a top-of-the-table League One game. I spoke to a few of their fans before the game and they were all decent, but when you see followings like that it makes you wonder what the point is.

Their forum is deserted tonight as well. If we had lost that game, the Cowsheds would have a one hundred page thread by now.

They're still too young a club to travel away. If they're still cursing the football league with their presence in another 20 years, they'll have maybe developed enough hardcore support to have a genuine fanbase, rather than the vast majority of their home attendances consisting of fans of premiership clubs who have nothing to do on a Saturday.

That is indeed a fantastic level of support all things considered. Tbh one of the only positives of this disastrous season is our level of support has been very impressive

That is a good turnout indeed.

As it's an unknown for you guys if you go down, it will be important to keep those fans onboard. As we know when it goes wrong in the NL, finishing below half way for 6 seasons it's very hard to keep the fans happy and wanting to turn up week in week out.

Oh I can imagine, I expect a huge drop next season even if we somehow undeservedly survive. Bar Lincoln our home support is the most impressive in L2 this season. Tremendous all season and unwarranted.

I respectfully disagree. It's easy to say in hindsight, but I look back rather fondly at our days in the doldrums. Some great away days, lots of fun times, and it galvanised our fan base.

Glad we're back though...

There won’t be a drop in your away support if you go down, first season in non league with all new grounds to go to you’ll probably sell out most away games, it’s if you stay in it for a few seasons that numbers will start to drop.

I hear mixed reviews , literally both ends of the Spectrum !

I’m resigned to it now and blame the owner and off field decisions more than anything else .

I’m one of the lucky ones who have seen Notts play league games in all four divisions , so why not make it five .

New adventures in non league football

Well except for being 600 short for selling out your local rivals that's 25mins up road of course

Well everyone deserves a blip away from home right? Especially at a ground where you not only always lose but get hammered or at least comfortably beaten each season.

25 mins? Wow! What are driving nowadays Richard ? Lol
