Not based on reputation, but based on that club visiting your club's home ground(s) over the years.

For me...
1. Stoke
2. Birmingham
3. Leeds

Notable mentions for Boro and West Brom.

Last season at Molineux I'd probably rate as:

1) Leeds
2) Birmingham
3) Sheff Utd / Aston Villa

I don't recall Stoke being any louder than average. Funnily enough the loudest fans to ever visit the NYS are in my opinion the city of Stoke's other team Port Vale

From the Championship

1) WBA
2) Birmingham city
3) Forest

Brum by a country mile. They've had a couple of corkers at ours over the past few years though, that helps.

At Loftus Road, Newcastle have been brilliant but the first time Millwall came to QPR when Bircham had joined us was unbelievable. I have never heard constant chanting from both tiers at the same time for literally the whole game.

1. Millwall
2. Sheffield Wednesday
3. Hard to say the 3rd, a lot of fans are pretty similar. Probably Leeds United or Birmingham.

On a consistent basis
1Blades when winning, worst when losing, both for obvious reasons.
2 Leeds
3 Villa

Boro are also normally good.

I thought Blues were loud at the last game of 16/17 although it was only ever one bloody song! :hb:
The 3 mentioned are always loud, credit to them.

Yeah they were as you'd expect, but this year they were dead quiet, same for the 0-0 which was Tomlin's first game back in 15/16.

Wow you've only been going for one year.

My experience I'd go ourselves, Leeds, Wednesday, Stoke and Birmingham.

Going back a bit this as it's obviously been a long time since any Championship team played at Blundell Park but from games I've been to it'd be:

1 Bolton
2 West Brom (boing boing nearly all fucking game :hb:)
3 Wednesday

Preston were never all that at Gigg back in the day. Went to Elland Road to watch Preston (in the away end) in 2016, again not amazing, not bad but not amazing. It was a 3-0 defeat though.

Both Sheffield clubs are loud, went to watch Villa vs Ipswich a few years back too and remember Ipswich being very loud... think it ended 2-1 Villa but Ipswich took the lead.

In terms of the teams in the league today it’s Villa and Leeds. No one else has come close.

Burton were the noisiest last season.

Over the years, fuck knows, depends on numbers and whether they're doing well.

I remember you lot at ours in 97/98 season it was either Christmas or New Year and at 3-0 down you all stood up and sung ‘stand up if you think we’re shit’. :brill:

So Preston fans are the loudest AWAY fans to visit Preston?
Wondered how long it would be before someone blew their own fans trumpet, expected it from Abertawe, not from you.
BTW think you're being tongue in cheek, but if not from experience over many years at Hillsborough Preston are no better than average (even compared to teams with similar numbers).
Always found you loud for numbers at Deepdale though.

What about some less known ones...

Are Norwich loud?

Who are the loudest out of the London clubs?

Loudest out of the Yorkshire’s? Lancashire’s?
